Notification

No-2/Thana-10-06/2017-12383/(H.P)—Whereas, the State Government of Bihar has

communicated its decision regarding creation of 28 (Twenty Eight) Traffic Police Stations in 28

districts [Kishanganj, Nawada, Siwan, Buxar, Madhubani, Jehanabad, Kaimur (Bhabhua), Supaul,

Saharsa, Jamui, Rohtas, West Champaran (Bettiah), Vaishali, Aurangabad, Araria, Gopalganj,

Sitamarhi, Samastipur, Lakhisarai, Banka, Khagaria, East Champaran (Motihari), Madhepura, Arwal,

Shivhar Shekhpura and Police District Bagha & Navgachhia] of the state for traffic control and

prevention of road accidents vide Home Department sanction order No. 12127 dated 06-10-2023.

Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (s) of section-2 of the Code

of Criminal Procedure, 1973, the state government, hereby, declares the creation of “ 28 (Twenty Eight)

Traffic Police Stations in 28 districts [Kishanganj, Nawada, Siwan, Buxar, Madhubani, Jehanabad,

Kaimur (Bhabhua), Supaul, Saharsa, Jamui, Rohtas, West Champaran (Bettiah), Vaishali, Aurangabad,

Araria, Gopalganj, Sitamarhi, Samastipur, Lakhisarai, Banka, Khagaria, East Champaran (Motihari),

Madhepura, Arwal, Shivhar Shekhpuraand Police District Bagha & Navgachhia] of the state for traffic

control and prevention of road accidents vide Home Department sanction order No. 12127 dated 06-10-

2023 with effect from the date of publication of the notification. It’s local jurisdiction has been

specified in sanction order No.12127 dated 06-10-2023.
