Courts Rules, 2010)

No. ch0@vk0v0bZ0&01@2023@13866—WHEREAS, It was alleged that SHRI

AMRESH RAM, S/O-Late Malik Chand Ram, Vill.- Rampur, P.S.-Jamhaur, Distt.-

Aurangabad, A/P- Ward N0.-13, Brahmasthan, Mini Bigha, P.S.+Distt.-Aurangabad,

Bihar while holding the post of the Head Clerk, District Welfare Office, Collectorate,

Aurangabad, Govt. of Bihar (at present) and serving in different capacities under

Government of Bihar committed an offence alongwith others accused under clause (e) of

sub-section (1) of Section 13 of the Prevention of Corruption Act, 1988 and that the matter

is being investigated in Economic Offences P.S. Case No. 13/2022, dated 07.03.2022, under

section 13(2) read with 13(1)(e) and amended section 13(1)(b) of the Prevention of

Corruption Act, 1988.

AND WHEREAS, on scrutiny of relevant materials available on record, the State

Government is of the opinion that there is prima facie case of commission of above

mentioned offence by the said SHRI AMRESH RAM, S/O-Late Malik Chand Ram,

Vill.- Rampur, P.S.-Jamhaur, Distt.-Aurangabad, the then Head Clerk, District

Welfare Office, Collectorate, Aurangabad, Govt. of Bihar and others accused who have

accumulated properties disproportionate to his known sources of income by resorting to

corrupt means;

AND WHEREAS, it is felt necessary and expedient by the Government that the said

offenders should be tried by the Special Court Established under sub-section (1) of Section 3

of Bihar Special Courts Act, 2009;

NOW, THEREFORE, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of

Section 5 of Bihar Special Courts Act, 2009, the State Government do hereby declare that

the said offence shall be dealt with under the Special Courts Act, 2009.
