(Under Section 5 of the Bihar Special Courts Act, 2009, and Rules 7 of Bihar Special

Courts Rules, 2010)

No. ch0@vk0v0bZ0&03@2023&13870&&WHEREAS, It was alleged that SHRI

ARVIND KUMAR, S/O-Late Ramyatan Prasad Singh, At-Chanakya Nagar,

Kumhrar, P.S.-Agamkua, Distt.-Patna, Bihar while holding the post of the Junior

Engineer, Public Health Engineering Division, (Sonepur), Chapra, Public Health

Engineering Department, Govt. of Bihar (Dismissed) and serving in different

capacities under Government of Bihar committed an offence with another person under

clause (e) of sub-section (1) of Section 13 of the Prevention of Corruption Act, 1988 and

that the matter is being investigated in Economic Offences P.S. Case No. 40/2013, dated

03.09.2013,

AND WHEREAS, on scrutiny of relevant materials available on record, the State

Government is of the opinion that there is prima facie case of commission of above

mentioned offence by the said Shri Arvind Kumar, S/O-Late Ramyatan Prasad

Singh, At-Chanakya Nagar, Kumhrar, P.S.-Agamkua, Distt.-Patna, Bihar, the then

Junior Engineer, Public Health Engineering Division, (Sonepur), Chapra, Public

Health Engineering Department, Govt. of Bihar (Dismissed) with another person who

have accumulated properties disproportionate to their known sources of income by

resorting to corrupt means;

AND WHEREAS, it is felt necessary and expedient by the Government that the

said offenders should be tried by the Special Court Established under sub-section (1) of

Section 3 of Bihar Special Courts Act, 2009;

NOW, THEREFORE, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of

Section 5 of Bihar Special Courts Act, 2009, the State Government do hereby declare that

the said offence shall be dealt with under the Special Courts Act, 2009.
