NOTIFICATION

No. X-04-2024-114(R) / A.D. (Rules).—The Rule further to amend the Patna High Court

Officers and Staff (Recruitment, Appointment, Promotion and Other Conditions of Service and

Conduct) Rules, 2021.

The following amendment received the assent of the Hon’ble Court in the context of

renaming the post of “Assistant” as “Assistant Section Officer” in the establishment of the High

Court of Judicature at Patna:-

(i)

This shall be called “the Patna High Court Officers and Staff

(Recruitment, Appointment, Promotion and other Conditions of Service

and Conduct) [4^th Amendment] Rules, 2024.”

(ii)

The amendment shall come into force with immediate effect.

2. In Part-IV of the Patna High Court Officers and Staff (Recruitment, Appointment,

Promotion and Other Conditions of Service and Conduct) Rules, 2021 (hereinafter

referred to as the principal Rules), in Clause-6(A) at Sl.No.8, the name of the post

‘Assistant’ is rechristened and substituted with ‘Assistant Section Officer’ and

accordingly the post ‘Assistant’, wherever mentioned in the principal Rules, shall be

called ‘Assistant Section Officer’.
