Bihar Technical Service Commission (amendment) ACT, 2024

ACT
to amend the Bihar Technical Service Commission Act, 2014
(Bihar Act 13, 2014) (as amended time to time)
preamble :-
WHEREAS, Bihar Technical Service Commission is created by the Bihar
Technical Service Commission Act, 2014, and the amendment in the section-8 is
appropriate in the aforesaid Act;
NOW THEREFORE, Be it enacted by the legislature of the State of Bihar in the
Seventy five year of Republic of India as follows :-
1. Short title, extent and commencement.- (1) This Act may be called "The
Bihar Technical Service Commission (amendment) Act, 2024".
(2) It shall extend to the whole of the State of Bihar.
(3) It shall come into force at once on publication in official gazette.
2. Amendment in Proviso of Section-8 of Bihar Technical Service
Commission Act, 2014 (Bihar Act 13, 2014).- Proviso of section-8 of the said Act shall
be substituted as follows:-
"Provided that, The Commission may select and recommend for the appointment
to all posts including General Medical Officer, Specialist Medical Officer of Bihar Health
Service Cadre and all posts of Indira Gandhi Institute of Cardiology Medical Service
Cadre, and such other posts under the control of Health Department as the Government
may from time to time decide.”
