No. IV/M1-1-4/2025-942—In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (a) of

sub-section (i) of section 9 of the Indian Stamp Act, 1899, the Governor of Bihar is pleased

to exempt fully the stamp duty chargeable on registration of document related to transfer of

05 acres of land on lease to kendriya vidyalaya Sangathan for 99 years for construction of

Kendriya Vidyalaya building at 45th Battalion Sashastra Seema Bal, Veerpur, Supaul and

12.91 acres of land for 99 years for construction of Kendriya Vidyalaya, AFS, Purnia.

2. Department of Prohibition, Excise & Registration has been empowered by the

government to provide 100% exemption on stamp duty for construction of new kendriya

vidyalay on receipt of proposals with prior consent of the Education Department and on the

recommendation of the Collector, after obtaining the consent of the Finance Department.

3. It shall come into force with immediate effect.
