The 21st March 2025
S.O. 63 dated The 25TH March 2025— In exercise of the powers conferred by
sub-section (1) of Section 13 and Sub-Section (1) of Section 14 of the Bengal, Agra and
Assam Civil Courts Act 1887 (Act XII of 1887) and Sub-section (1) of Section-9 of The
Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 (Act. No.-46 of 2023) and in modification of all
the previous notifications and orders issued on the subject, the Governor of Bihar is pleased
to direct that:-
(a)
One Court of Subdivisional Judicial Magistrate [Civil Judge (Junior
Division)] and One Court of Judicial Magistrate [Civil Judge (Junior
Division)] of Patori Sub-division in the district of Samastipur shall be
established at Patori;
(b)
The Jurisdiction of the Court of Subdivisional Judicial Magistrate [Civil
Judge (Junior Division)] and the Court of Judicial Magistrate [Civil Judge
(Junior Division)] of Patori sub-division shall be the entire local limits of the
Sub-division of Patori in the District of Samastipur;
(c)
The Court of Subdivisional Judicial Magistrate [Civil Judge (Junior
Division)] and the Court of Judicial Magistrate [Civil Judge (Junior
Division)] of Patori sub-division shall hold its sittings at Patori.
(d)
This Notification shall come into force with effect from the 29th March, 2025
