The 28^th March 2025

S.O. 76 Date 8 April 2025&The powers conferred by Section 27 of the

Minimum Wages Act, 1948 (11 of 1948) and as required under subsection 1 (b) of Section 5

of the Act, draft notification No.- 7116-7117 dated 23.12.2024 was issued for adding certain

new employments to the scheduled employments under the Minimum Wages Act,1948 and

objections and suggestions were invited from the general public by fixing a period of three

months. After consideration of the objections and suggestions received, the Minimum

Wages Advisory Board agreed with the proposal to add new employments.

The Governor of Bihar pleased to declare the inclusion of workers employed

through outsourcing in Government offices and workers employed through outsourcing in

the sugar industry in the scheduled employments under the Minimum Wages Act,1948.
