अनुसरण मŐ िनवाŊचन आयोग एतȞ्वारा िविनिदŊ̽ ट करता है िक 85 वषŊ से अिधक आयु के िनवाŊचक और शारीįरक िन:श̋ तता

(बŐचमाकŊ ) वाले िनवाŊचक, िज̢ हŐ रा̕ य की िनवाŊचक नामाविलयों के डाटा बेस मŐ पहले से ही िचि˥त/इंिगत िकया गया हो, और जो

डाक मतपũ Ȫारा मतदान करने के िलए आवेदन करते हœ और जो संबंिधत įरटिनōग अिधकारी Ȫारा उसके अनुरोध के स̝ यापन की

शतŊ के अधीन हœ, िनवाŊचनों का संचालन िनयम, 1961 के भाग-।।।क के Ůावधानों के अनुसार, लोक Ůितिनिधȕ अिधिनयम, 1951

की धारा 30 के अंतगŊत 10.10.2025 और 13.10.2025 को अिधसूिचत होने वाले िबहार िवधानसभा के वȅŊमान साधारण

िनवाŊचन और 7 राǛों के 8 िवधानसभा िनवाŊचन Ɨेũों (अनुलŤक-1 के अनुसार) के उप िनवाŊचनों के िलए डाक मतपũ Ȫारा

मतदान करने के िलए ʩİƅयों की एक ŵेणी होंगे।

Nirvachan Sadan, Ashoka Road, New Delhi-110001/ Dated 7^th October, 2025

No. 52/2025/SDR/Vol. IIA.— In pursuance of the provisions of clause (c) of Section 60 of

the Representation of the People Act, 1951, the Election Commission hereby specifies that the

elector above the age of 85 years and elector with physical disability (benchmark) as already

marked/flagged in the data base of the electoral rolls of the State and, who requests for voting by

postal ballot paper and subject to the verification of his request by Returning Officer concerned,

would be a class of persons to give his vote by postal ballot in the current general elections to the

Legislative Assembly of Bihar and bye election in 8 Assembly Constituencies of 7 States (as per

Annexure-I) Scheduled to be notified on 10.10.2025 and 13.10.2025 under Section 30 of the

Representation of the People Act, 1951, as per the provisions in Part-IIIA of the Conduct of

Election Rules, 1961.

̺ यİƅ, जो डाक मतपũ Ȫारा मतदान करने के िलए आवेदन करते हœ और जो संबंिधत įरटिनōग अिधकारी Ȫारा उसके अनुरोध का

स̝ यापन िकए जाने की शतŊ के अधीन हœ, इस िवषय पर िनवाŊचन आयोग Ȫारा िनगŊत िनदőशों एवं िदशािनदőशों के साथ पिठत, िविध

एवं Ɋाय मंũालय, भारत सरकार की अिधसूचना का.आ.सं. 1964 (अ.) िदनांक 19 जून, 2020 के जįरए यथासंशोिधत, िनवाŊचनŐ का

संचालन िनयम, 1961 के भाग- IIIक, के उपबंधों के अनुसार लोक Ůितिनिधȕ अिधिनयम 1951 की धारा 30 के अंतगŊत

10.10.2025 और 13.10.2025 को अिधसूिचत िकए जाने वाले िबहार िवधानसभा के वȅŊमान साधारण िनवाŊचन और 7 राǛों के 8

the Legislative Assemblies of Bihar and bye elections to 8 Assembly Constituencies of 7

States (as per Annexure-I) scheduled to be notified on 10.10.2025 and 13.10.2025 under

Section 30 of the Representation of the People Act, 1951, as per the provisions in Part-IIIA of the

Conduct of Elections Rules, 1961, as amended vide Ministry of Law & Justice, Govt. of India,

Notification SO No. 1964(E), dated 19^th June, 2020 read with the directions and guidelines

issued by the Election Commission on the subject.
