NOTIFICATION

The 18th November, 2025

No. X-02-2024 A.D. (Rules) 2805 (R)—In exercise of the powers conferred by

Clause (2) of Article 229 of the Constitution of India, the Acting Chief Justice of the

High Court of Judicature at Patna makes the following amendment in the Patna High

Court Officers and Staff (Recruitment, Appointment, Promotion and other

Conditions of Service and Conduct) Rules, 2021.

1. Short title and commencement-

(i)

These Rules shall be called the Patna High Court Officers and

Staff

(Recruitment,

Appointment,

Promotion

and

other

Conditions of Service and Conduct) (10^th Amendment) Rules,

2025.

(ii)

It shall come into force with immediate effect and shall apply to such

vacancies accrued before and after the amendment.

2. In Part- IV, Rule- 6, Sub-rule (H)(13)(B), the entry at Sl. No. (d) of the

column- 4 captioned “Minimum Qualification/ Eligibility Conditions/ Procedure for

filling up the post”, in respect of “Regular Mazdoor (Group- C)” By absorption from

persons engaged on daily wages having due regard to seniority, amendment is made

in the following manner:-

d) On completion of minimum three

years’ satisfactory performance of

duty.

d) On completion of minimum two years’

satisfactory performance of duty.
