सं´ या-01/सा०सु०-MBNY-01/2024-2786/स०क०—िबहार िभ±ावृि° िनवारण अिधिनयम 1951 (अिधिनयम 1, 1951)

कì धारा 12 Ĭारा ÿद° शिĉयŌ का ÿयोग करते हòए, िबहार सरकार, िबहार िभ±ावृि° िनवारण िनयमावली 1954 म¤ संशोधन करने के िलए

िनÌनिलिखत िनयम बनाती है :-

1. संि±Į शीषªक, िवÖतार और ÿारंभ।-

i.

इस िनयम को “िबहार िभ±ावृि° िनवारण (संशोधन) िनयमावली 2025” कहा जा सकेगा।

ii.

इसका िवÖतार सÌपूणª िबहार राº य म¤ होगा।

iii. यह अिधसूचना िबहार राजपý म¤ ÿकाशन कì तारीख से ÿभावी होगा।

िबहार िभ±ावृि° िनवारण िनयमावली 1954 के िनयम 6(2)(ख) म¤ संशोधन । - उ³ त िनयमावली के िनयम 6(2)

(ख) को िनÌ न ÿकार संशोिधत िकया जाता है :-

िचिकÂ सा पदािधकारी जहॉं आवÔ यक हो, Æ यायालय के अगले आदेशŌ तक कुÕ ठ रोग या अÆ य संøामक रोग से ÿभािवत पाये

गये या िकसी मानिसक Ö वाÖ Ã य समÖ या से पीिड+त Ó यिĉ को तÂ काल िचिकÂ सा उपचार के िलए यथािÖथित ÿमािणत गृह,

िवशेष गृह या कायª गृह म¤ Ó यवÖ था करेगा ।

Notification

The 10^th December 2025

No-01/SA. SU.-MBNY-01/2024-2786/SA.KA.—In Exercise of powers conferred upon by

section 12 of the Bihar Prevention of Beggary Act 1951 (Act 1 of 1951) Government of Bihar makes

the following rules to amend the Bihar Prevention of Beggary Rules 1954 :-

1. Short Title, Extent and Commencement:—

i. These rules may be called as the “Bihar Prevention of Beggary (Amendment)

Rules 2025”.

ii. It shall extend to the whole of the State of Bihar.

iii. It shall come into force with effect from the date of publication of notification in

official Gazette.

2. Amendment of the Rule 6 (2) (b) of the Bihar Prevention of Beggary Rules 1954.—

Rule 6 (2) (b) of the said rule shall be substituted as follows.

“The Medical Officer shall, where necessary, make arrangements in the Certified

Home, Special Home, or Work House, as the case may be, for the immediate medical

examination and treatment of any person found to be affected by leprosy or any other

communicable disease, or suffering from any mental health condition, pending further

orders of the Court.”
