NOTIFICATION

The 11^th December 2025

No. X-07-2025 AD (Rules) 2841(R)/Rules Dept.—In exercise of the powers

conferred by Clause (2) of Article 229 of the Constitution of India, the Acting Chief

Justice of the High Court of Judicature at Patna makes the following amendment in the

Patna High Court Officers and Staff (Recruitment, Appointment, Promotion and

other Conditions of Service and Conduct) Rules, 2021.

1.

Short title and commencement.—

(i)

These Rules shall be called the Patna High Court Officers

and

Staff

(Recruitment,

Appointment,

Promotion

and

other Conditions of Service and Conduct) (11^th Amendment)

Rules, 2025.

(ii) It shall come into force with immediate effect.

2.

In Part-VII, Rule-24 of the Patna High Court Officers and Staff

(Recruitment, Appointment, Promotion and other Conditions of Service and

Conduct) Rules, 2021, the first proviso under sub-rule-2(iii) is amended in

the following manner:-

In

Part-VII,

Rule-24

of

the

Patna

High

Court

Officers

and

Staff (Recruitment, Appointment, Promotion and other Conditions of

Service and Conduct) Rules, 2021, a new sub-rule-2(iv) is inserted below

sub-rule-2 (iii), in the following manner:-

“(iv) Remarks in the Annual Confidential Report (ACR) in relation

to the Officers & Staff posted in the Sections/Departments/Cell

which are not under direct supervision of the Officer of the

Registry of the rank of Joint Registrar and above, shall be

recorded by the Registrar (Establishment) upon consideration

of the report of Assistant Registrar/Deputy Registrar of the

respective Sections/ Departments/ Cell.”
