िनवाªचन सदन, अशोक रोड, नई िदÐली-110001/िदनांक 16 अÿैल 2026, चैý 26, 1948 (शक)

सं. 100/िबहार-िव.प./04/2025-Öथा.ÿा.: यत: िबहार राºय कì िवधान पåरषद म¤ भोजपुर-सह-ब³सर Öथानीय ÿािधकारी िनवाªचन-

±ेý से िनवाªिचत ®ी राधा चरण साह का Öथान, उनकì पदाविध, जो 07.04.2028 सिहत उस तारीख तक थी, के समाĮ होने से पूवª िबहार

िवधानसभा म¤ उनके िनवाªिचत होने के कारण 16.11.2025 से åरĉ हो गया है; और

यतः, इस ÿकार हòई åरिĉ को भरने के ÿयोजन से उप-िनवाªचन कराना है;

अतः, अब लोक ÿितिनिधÂव अिधिनयम् 1951 (1951 का 43) कì धारा 151, 30 और 56 के अनुसरण म¤, िनवाªचन आयोग

एतĥवाराः-

(अ)

िबहार राºय म¤ भोजपुर-सह-ब³सर Öथानीय ÿािधकारी िनवाªचन-±ेý से यह अपे±ा करता है िक वे 15 मई, 2026 (शुøवार) से पूवª तथा

उĉ अिधिनयम और उसके तĦीन बनाए गए िनयमŌ और िकए गए आदेशŌ के उपबÆधŌ के अनुसार राºय कì िवधान पåरषद म¤ उĉ åरिĉ

को भरने के ÿयोजन से एक Óयिĉ िनवाªिचत कर देः,

(आ) उĉ िनवाªचन के संबंध मेः-

(क) नाम िनद¥िशत करने कì अिÆतम तारीख

– 23 अÿैल, 2026 (गुŁवार) ;

(ख) नाम िनद¥शन कì संवी±ा कì तारीख

– 24 अÿैल, 2026 (शुøवार) ;

(ग) अËयिथªताएं वापस लेने कì अिÆतम तारीख

– 27 अÿैल, 2026 (सोमवार) ;

(घ) वह तारीख िजसको यिद आवÔयक हòआ तो मतदान होगा – 12 मई, 2026 (मंगलवार) ; और

(ड.) वह तारीख िजसको पूवª िनवाªचन सÌपÆन करा िलया जाएगा– 15 मई, 2026 (शुøवार); िनयत करता है और

(इ)

08:00 बजे पूवाªĹ से 04:00 बजे अपराĹ तक का समय उस समय के łप म¤ िनयत करता है िजसको यिद आवÔयक हòआ तो िविनिदªĶ

तारीख को मतदान होगा।

No.100/BR-LC/04/2025-LAC: - WHEREAS, the seat of Shri Radha Charan Sah in the

Legislative Council of the State of Bihar, elected from Bhojpur-cum-Buxar Local Authorities’

Constituency, has become vacant on 16^th November, 2025, by the reason of his election to the Bihar

Legislative Assembly, before the expiration of his term of office which was upto and including the

07.04.2028; and

WHEREAS, a bye-election is to be held for the purpose of filling the vacancy so caused;

NOW, THEREFORE, in pursuance of sections 151, 30 and 56 of the Representation of the

People Act, 1951 (43 of 1951), the Election Commission hereby -

(A) calls upon the Bhojpur-cum-Buxar Local Authorities’ Constituency, in the State of

Bihar, to elect, before 15^th May, 2026 (Friday) and in accordance with the provisions

of the said Act and of the rules and orders made thereunder, a person for the purpose

of filling the said vacancy in the Legislative Council of the State;

(B) appoints, with respect to the said election, -

(a) the 23^rd April, 2026 (Thursday), as the last date for making nominations;

(b) the 24^th April, 2026 (Friday), as the date for the scrutiny of nominations;

candidatures;

(d) the 12^th May, 2026 (Tuesday), as the date on which a poll shall, if necessary, be

taken; and

(e) the 15^th May, 2026 ( Friday), as the date before which the election shall be

completed; and
