No. : B-1-3-65/2026-27.—Whereas a bye-election has been held in pursuance of notification

no-100/BR-LC/04/2025-LAC Dated-16-04-2026 issued by Election Commission of India,

New Delhi under section 151, section 30 and section 56 of the Representation of People Act, 1951

(43 of 1951) for the purpose of filling 01(One) seat vacant due to the seat of Shri. Radha Charan

Sah in the Legislative Council of the State of Bihar, elected from Bhojpur-cum-Buxar Local

Authorities’ Constituency, has become vacant on 16^th November, 2025 by the reason of his election

to Bihar Legislative Assembly, before the expiration of his term of office which was up to and

including 07.04.2028; and

Whereas the result of the bye-election has been declared by the Returning Officer concerned

Under Section 66 of the the Representation Act, 1951 (43 of 1951),
