4060—In exercise of the

powers conferred by 3^rd proviso of Section-3 of the Indian stamp Act, 1899 {as inserted by

the Bihar Finance Act, 2001(Act No-11 of 2002 )}, the Governor of Bihar is pleased to

substitute the Article no 23 and 33 of schedule-1A of the said Act by the following:-

(a) In case of transfer from male to female 6.6%

2. The general rate of stamp duty for the registration of land/property in the

state is fixed at 7%.

3. Rates of the said Stamp duty shall be effective from the date of issuance of

the notification.
