Subject: Partial modification of guidelines for affiliation for Privately Managed

Schools in Bihar

No. 09/B.S.E.B.-22/2024/984—In pursuance of the Compliance Reduction and

Deregulation Phase-II initiative, and in partial modification of the guidelines for issuance of

fresh affiliation and renewal of affiliation for Privately Managed Schools in Bihar, as

notified Bihar School Examination Board (High Secondary) Affiliation Regulations, 2011

(as amended from time-to-time) and in supersession of the earlier Bihar Government

Notification No. BSEB (SS)/CoII-Estab/688/D/2026 dated 07-06-2026, The following

amendments are hereby made:

The minimum land requirement prescribed under Clause 3 of the existing guidelines for

issuance of affiliation and renewal of affiliation for Privately Managed Schools in Bihar is

hereby eliminated.

Accordingly, it is clarified that no land norms shall be applicable while submitting

applications for affiliation and renewal of affiliation.

This Notification is issued with the approval of the competent authority and shall

come into force with immediate effect.
