AMENDMENT TO SPECIAL RULES FOR THE ANDHRA PRADESH TEXT BOOK SERVICE RULES.

NOTIFICATION

In exercise of the powers conferred by the provisio to Article 309 of the Constitution of India, and of all other powers hereunto enabling, the Governor of Andhra Pradesh hereby makes the following amendment to the Special Rules of Andhra Pradesh Government Text Book Press Services, issued in G.O. Ms No.417, Education (C & TBP) Department, Dated 13.12.1997.

AMENDMENT

In the said rules,-

1. in rule 2, -

(a) in category 7 the post of 'Assistant Accounts Officer' shall be omitted.

(b) Category 8 'Labour Welfare Officer' shall be renumbered as category 7.

2. in rule 3, in the table, -

(a) for the category 6 'Accounts Officer' and the entries in columns (2) and (3) thereof, the following shall be substituted namely,

6. Accounts Officer	By appointment by transfer of Superintendents, Managers and Commercial Accountants.	Director

[ 1 ] 2 ANDHRA PRADESH GAZETTE, March 21, 2018 (b) category 7 'Assistant Accounts Officer' and the entries in Columns (2) and (3) thereof, shall be omitted.

(d) for the note (4) there under, the following shall be substituted namely,-

(4) For the purpose of promotion as Assistant Director (Administration), Assistant Director (Stores), Superintendents shall be considered along with commercial Accountants, Managers of the Directorates and Managers appointed as Superintendents / Commercial Accountants or Managers as the case may be.

3. in the Annexure to rule 5 for category 4 'Assistant Accounts Officer' and the entries in columns (2) and (3) thereof, the following shall be substituted namely,-

4. Accounts Officer	By appointment by	i) Must possess a Bachelors Degree transfer in commerce of University in India established or incorporated by or under a Central Act provincial Act or a State Act or an Institution recognised by the University Grants Commission or an equivalent qualification or any other degree may also be considered. ii) Must have passed Accounts Test for Subordinate Officers Parts I & II.
