DESIGNATION OF JUDICIAL MAGISTRATE OF FIRST CLASS COURTS AND METROPOLITAN MAGISTRATAE COURT, VISAKHAPATNAM IN NINE (9) COASTAL DISTRICTS, IN THE STATE OF ANDHRA PRADESH TO DEAL WITH CASES OF VARIOUS ACTS ARISING OUT OF 21 COASTAL SECURITY POLICE STATIONS.

NOTIFICATION
In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section(l) Section 11 of Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 (Central Act No.2 of 1974), the Government of Andhra Pradesh, in consultation with the High Court of Judicature at Hyderabad for the State of Telangana and the State of Andhra Pradesh, hereby earmark the Judicial Magistrate of First Class Courts in eight (8) Districts and III Metropolitan Magistrate's Court, Visakhapatnam in Visakhapatnam District, as shown in column No.(4) of Table below, for taking cognizance and trial of the offences triable by the Magistrates arising out of various Acts relating to Maritime Zone of India Act, 1981 and Allied Acts registered by the twenty one(21) Marine/Coastal Security Police Stations of nine(9) Coastal Districts, as shown in column No. (3) of table below, and further the said Courts are earmarked for taking cognizance and committal of the offences triable by the Sessions Judges arising out of various special enactments (list appended vide Annexure) registered by the twenty one (21) Marine/Coastal Security Police Stations, wherever there is statutory requirement, to the Sessions Judges of the respective Districts, for trial and disposal in accordance with law.
