RE-ORGANIZATION OF REVENUE MANDALS - GUNTUR DISTRICT - GUNTUR REVENUE DIVISION - BIFURCATION OF THE EXISTING GUNTUR MANDAL INTO GUNTUR (EAST) AND GUNTUR (WEST) MANDALS.

FINAL NOTIFICATION
In exercise of the powers conferred under sub-sections (2) and (5) of Section 3 of the Andhra Pradesh Districts (Formation) Act, 1974 (Andhra Pradesh Act No. 7 of 1974) and in the interest of better administration and development of the areas, after having published the proposals in Extra Ordinary issue of A.P. Gazette No. 18 Dt: 5.1.2018 as required under sub section (5) of section-3 of the A.P. District (Formation) Act 1974, and as there are no objections received on preliminary notifications of reorganization of Guntur Mandal into Guntur(East) and Guntur (West) Mandals, do hereby notify that there shall be formed a new Urban Mandal after reorganization of Guntur Mandal into Guntur (East) and Guntur (West) with head quarters as set out in the appended Schedule below with effect from the date of publication of this Notification in the Gazette.
