ELECTION SCHEDULE FOR CONDUCT OF CASUAL VACANCY OF VICE-CHAIRPERSON, ZILLA PRAJA PARISHAD, WEST GODAVARI DISTRICT.

NOTIFICATION

No. 45/SEC-B1/2016-36: In exercise of the powers conferred by Sections 200 and 201 of the Andhra Pradesh Panchayat Raj Act, 1994, (Act 13 of 1994) read with and Andhra Pradesh Conduct of election of Co-opted Member, President and Vice- President of Mandal Parishad and Co-opted Members, Chairperson and Vice-Chairperson of Zilla Parishad Rules, 2006 issued in G.O.Ms.No.173, PR & RD (Elecs) Dept, dated 10.5.2006, the State Election Commissioner, hereby, authorises the Collector and District Election Authority, West Godavari to preside over and conduct election to the casual vacancy of Vice-Chairperson, Zilla Praja Parishad, West Godavari in accordance with the procedure laid down in the said Rules and specifies the election schedule in Annexure appended to this Notification.

1.	Notice to be given to the Members in Form - IX by the Collector & District Election Authority, West Godavari calling for Special Meeting for conduct of election to the casual vacancy of Vice-Chairperson, Zilla Praja Parishad, West Godavari District. ( This notice should be given to all the Members of Zilla Praja Parishad specified in Clauses (i) to (v) of Sec.177(3) of A.P. Panchayat Raj Act 1994)	On or before 28.04.2018
2.	Date and Time of the meeting for the election of Vice-Chairperson of Zilla Praja Parishad.	At 11.00 AM on 02.05.2018

NOTE:- If for any reason election of Vice-Chairperson, ZPP is not held on 02.05.2018, it shall be held on the next day, i.e., on 03.05.2018 at 11.00 A.M whether or not it is observed as a holiday by the Zilla Praja Parishad.
