DECLARATION OF SRI LAKSHMI NARASIMHA SWAMY TEMPLE, ANTHARVEDI VILLAGE, SAKHINETIPALLI MANDAL, EAST GODAVARI DISTRICT TO BE A PROTECTED MONUMENT.

N O T I F I C A T I O N

Whereas, it has been brought to the notice of the Government of Andhra Pradesh that the Ancient Temple known as Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy Temple, Antharvedi Village, Sakhinetipalli Mandal, East Godavari District, as specified in the appended Schedule, is considered to be of Archaeological and Historical importance;

And whereas, the Government are of the opinion that Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy Temple, Antharvedi Village, Sakhinetipalli Mandal, East Godavari District requires protection under the provisions of the Andhra Pradesh Ancient and Historical Monuments and Archaeological Sites and Remains Act, 1960 (Act VII of 1960);

And whereas, the Government, have issued Notification in G.O.Ms.No.36, YAT & C (PMU) Department, Dated 29-01-2011 and the same has been published in the extra-ordinary issue of the Andhra Pradesh Gazette No.83-C, Part-I, Dated: 09022011 at page Nos.1 & 2, its intention to declare the said ancient Temple to be a protected monument by giving two months notice as required under sub-section (1) of Section 4 of the said Act; [ 1 ] 2 ANDHRA PRADESH GAZETTE EXTRAORDINARY [Part-I

And whereas, no objections or suggestions have been received by the Government to the declaration of the said Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy Temple, Antharvedi Village, Sakhinetipalli Mandal, East Godavari District, to be a protected monument during the said period of two months;

5. Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (3) of Section 4 of the Andhra Pradesh Ancient and Historical Monuments and Archaeological Sites and Remains Act, 1960 (Act VII of 1960) and in supersession of the orders issued in G.O. Ms. No.121, YAT&C Deptt., Dt: 15.11.2011 the Government of Andhra Pradesh hereby declares that the ancient Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy Temple, Antharvedi Village, Sakhinetipalli Mandal, East Godavari District, as specified in the Schedule to be a protected monument as the same, having been previously published in the Andhra Pradesh Gazette as required under sub-section (1) of Section 4 of the said Act.
