N O T I F I C A T I O N

Whereas, it has been brought to the notice of the Government of Andhra Pradesh that the ancient Temple known as Sri Kasi Visweswara Swamy Temple, Mambattu (Village), Tada (Mandal), Sree Pottisreeramulu Nellore District, as specified in the appended Schedule, is considered to be of Archaeological and Historical important;

And whereas, the Government are of the opinion that Sri Kasi Visweswara Swamy Temple, Mambattu (Village), Tada (Mandal), Sree Pottisreeramulu Nellore District requires protection under the provisions of the Andhra Pradesh Ancient and Historical Monuments and Archaeological Sites and Remains Act, 1960 (Act VII of 1960); [ 1 ] 2 ANDHRA PRADESH GAZETTE EXTRAORDINARY [Part-I

And whereas, the Government, have issued Notification in the G.O.Ms. No.65, YAT & C (PMU) Department, Dated 16.06.2011 and the same has been published in the Andhra Pradesh Gazette No.326, Dated: 30.06.2011 at Page No.2, its intention to declare the said ancient Temple to be a protected monument by giving two months notice as required under sub-section (1) of Section 4 of the Andhra Pradesh Ancient and Historical Monuments and Archaeological Sites and Remains Act, 1960 (A.P. Act VII of 1960);

And whereas, no objections or suggestions have been received by the Government to the declaration of the said Sri Kasi Visweswara Swamy Temple, Mambattu (Village), Tada (Mandal), Sree Pottisreeramulu Nellore District, to be a protected monument during the said period of two months.

Now therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (3) of Section 4 of the Andhra Pradesh Ancient and Historical Monuments and Archaeological Sites and Remains Act, 1960 (Act VII of 1960) and in supersession of the orders issued in G.O. Ms. No.29, YAT&C Deptt., Dt: 16.02.2012 the Government of Andhra Pradesh hereby declares that the ancient Sri Kasi Visweswara Swamy Temple, Mambattu (Village), Tada (Mandal), Sree Pottisreeramulu Nellore District, as specified in the Schedule to be a protected monument as the same having been previously published in the Andhra Pradesh Gazette as required under sub-section (1) of Section 4 of the said Act.

The ancient Sri Kasi Visweswara Swamy Temple, Mambattu (Village), Tada (Mandal), Sree Pottisreeramulu Nellore District in total extent of 0.47 Cents bounded by the following:

East : R & B Road

West : Agricultural Patta Lands

North : Agricultural Patta Lands

South : Agricultural Patta Lands
