DECLARATION OF Sri CHENNAKASEVA SWAMY TEMPLE, KOMALI VILLAGE, TADIPATRI MANDAL, ANANTAPUR DISTRICT TO BE A PROTECTED MONUMENT.

N O T I F I C A T I O N

Whereas, it has been brought to the notice of the Government of Andhra Pradesh that the Ancient Temple known as Sri Chennakaseva Swamy Temple, Komali Village, Tadipatri Mandal, Anantapur District, as specified in the appended Schedule, is considered to be of Archaeological and Historical importance;

And whereas, the Government are of the opinion that the said Sri Chennakaseva Swamy Temple, Komali Village, Tadipatri Mandal, Anantapur District requires protection under the provision of the Andhra Pradesh Ancient and Historical Monuments and Archaeological Sites and Remains Act, 1960 (Act VII of 1960).

And whereas, the Government have issued Notification in G.O.Ms.No.25, YAT & C (PMU) Department, Dated: 31.10.2009 and the same has been published in the Andhra Pradesh Gazette No.48 Part-I, Dated: 26-11-2009 at Page 768-769, has published its intention to declare the said Ancient Temple to be a protected monument by giving two months notice as required under sub-section (1) of Section 4 of the said Act; [ 1 ] 2 ANDHRA PRADESH GAZETTE EXTRAORDINARY [Part-I

And whereas, no objections or suggestions have been received by the Government to the declaration of the said Sri Chennakaseva Swamy Temple, Komali Village, Tadipatri Mandal, Anantapur District, to be a protected monument during the said period of two months;

Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub- section (3) of Section 4 of the Andhra Pradesh Ancient and Historical Monuments and Archaeological Sites and Remains Act, 1960 (Act VII of 1960) and in supersession of the orders issued in G.O. Ms. No.39, YAT&C Deptt., Dt: 29.01.2011 the Governor of Andhra Pradesh hereby declares that Sri Chennakaseva Swamy Temple, Komali Village, Tadipatri Mandal, Anantapur District as specified in the Schedule to be a protected monument as the same having been previously published in the Andhra Pradesh Gazette as required under sub - section (1) of Section 4 of the said Act.

East : Road

West : Road

North : Grama Chavidi and Road

South : Busannagari Narayana Reddy and Yeluka Narayana Reddy sites.
