DECLARATION OF SREE YELLAMMA TEMPLE, KALIKIRI VILLAGE & MANDAL, CHITTOOR DISTRICT.

NOTIFICATION

Whereas, it has been brought to the notice of the Government of Andhra Pradesh that the Ancient Temple Sree Yellamma Temple, Kalikiri Village & Mandal, Chittoor District, as specified in the appended Schedule, is considered to be of Archaeological and Historical importance ;

And whereas, the Government are of the opinion that Sree Yellamma Temple, Kalikiri Village & Mandal, Chittoor District requires protection under the provisions of the Andhra Pradesh Ancient and Historical Monuments and Archaeological Sites and Remains Act, 1960 (Act VII of 1960) ;

And whereas, the Government, have issued Notification in the G.O.Ms.

No. 104, YAT & C (PMU) Department, Dated: 06-09-2011 and the same has been published in the Andhra Pradesh Gazette No.546-C, Part - I, Dated: 20-09-2011 at page.No. 2-3 its intention to declare the said Ancient Temple to be a protected monument by giving two months notice as required under sub - section (1) of Section 4 of the said Act ; [1] 2 ANDHRA PRADESH GAZETTE EXTRAORDINARY [Part-I

And whereas, no objections or suggestions have been received by the Government to declaration of the said Sree Yellamma Temple, Kalikiri Village & Mandal, Chittoor District, to be a protected monument during the said period of two months.

Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (3) of Section 4 of the Andhra Pradesh Ancient and Historical Monuments and Archaeological Sites and Remains Act, 1960 (Act VII of 1960) and in supersession of the orders issued in G.O. Ms. No.61, YAT&C Deptt., Dated : 27.04.2012 the Government of Andhra Pradesh hereby declares that the Ancient Sree Yellamma Temple, Kalikiri Village & Mandal, Chittoor District as specified in the Schedule to be a protected monument as the same having been previously published in the Andhra Pradesh Gazette as required under sub - section (1) of Section 4 of the said Act.

SCHEDULE

The Ancient Sree Yellamma Temple, Kalikiri Village & Mandal, Chittoor District with an extent of Acres 2.33 Guntas bounded by the following :

East : Road

West : Rajagopal gari Bhoomi

North : Ayyapa Swamy Temple

South : Saibaba Temple Road
