| 3. | "The following para is added as para 2(a) and the existing para 2 is changed as 2(b) under Rule 7 : 2(a) No person shall be eligible for appointment to the Service by direct recruitment in Category 5 of Division I unless he holds a Degree in Arts or Science or Commerce or any other Degree equivalent to such qualification and a Degree in Law of a University in India established or incorporated by or under a Central Act, Provincial Act or a State Act or from any institution recognized by the University Grants Commission. Preference will be given to those who have Computer skills." |
| 4. | "The following para is added as para (l)(a)(a) after the existing para (l)(a) under Rule 8 : A person appointed in Category-5 of Division-I by way of direct recruitment shall pass the Departmental Tests viz. Accounts Test for Subordinates Officers Part -I and Translation Test within a period of two years from the date of appointment." |
| 5. | "The following Scheme of Examination for Category 5 of Division-I is shown at the top of the Table in Schedule IV : Category-5 of Division-I (Section Officers/ Scrutiny Officers / Court Officers / Accounts Officer) A Written examination of Degree Standard including the Subjects of Law Degree." |
