ELECTIONS TO THE MEMBERS OF THE BAR COUNCIL OF ANDHRA PRADESH ELECTION NOTIFICATION OF THE BAR COUNCIL OF THE STATE OF

ANDHRA PRADESH

(Under Rule 5(a) of the Election Rules of the Bar Council A.P.)

Roc.No. 37 of 2018,- It is hereby notified that the Election to the Members of the Bar Council of Andhra Pradesh will be held on Friday, the 29 th June, 2018, between 10-30 a.m. and 5-00 p.m. The voting shall take place at the premises of respective Bar Associations, where the Courts are located in the State of Andhra Pradesh or such other places notified by the Election Officer. At the places where there are less than 10 voters, the voters names of those places will be attached to the other nearest Polling Stations and they shall be entitled to vote at those Polling Stations only. The voters who are practising in High Court of Judicature at Hyderabad & in A.P. Administrative Tribunal and who are on the rolls of Bar Council of Andhra Pradesh, shall vote at the following places, where their respective names are shown. :

(1) at the A.P.High Court Advocates' Association, High Court Premises, Hyderabad ;

Date of Election : Friday, 29th June, 2018

between 10-30 a.m. and 5-00 p.m.

Date, time and place for : From 17-05-2018 to 26-05-2018 between filing Nominations 10-30 a.m. and 5-00 p.m. before the Secretary, Bar Council of Andhra Pradesh, High Court premises, Hyderabad - 500 066.

Scrutiny of Nominations : 29-05-2018 by the Learned Advocate-General of the State of Andhra Pradesh at his office between 10-30 a.m. and 5-00 p.m.

Last date for withdrawal of : 31-05-2018 till 5-00 p.m. Nominations

Counting of votes : From 11-07-2018 at the office of Bar Council, High Court premises, Hyderabad from 10-30 a.m. onwards.

Every nomination form shall be accompanied by a non- refundable fees of Rs.30,000/- and the same shall be proposed by 10 voters and signed by each such voter.

The voters who do not posses the Identity Card shall obtain the same from the Secretary, Bar Council on or before 15 days earlier to the date of Election, so as to exercise their franchise.
