ELECTION SCHEDULE FOR CONDUCT OF CASUAL VACANCY OF PRESIDENT, RAJUPALEM MANDAL PRAJA PARISHAD IN GUNTUR DISTRICT.

NOTIFICATION

No. 45/SEC-B1/2016-39: In exercise of the powers conferred by Sections 200 and 201 of the Andhra Pradesh Panchayat Raj Act, 1994, (Act 13 of 1994) read with and Andhra Pradesh Conduct of Election of Co-opted Member, President and Vice- President of Mandal Parishad and Co-opted Members, Chairperson and Vice-Chairperson of Zilla Parishad Rules, 2006 issued in G.O.Ms.No.173, PR & RD (Elecs) Dept, dtd.10.5.2006, the State Election Commissioner, hereby, directs the Gazetted Officer of the Government authorised by the District Collector and District Election Authority, Guntur to conduct election to the casual vacancy of President, Mandal Praja Parishad, Rajupalem in accordance with the procedure laid down in the said Rules and specifies the election schedule in the Annexure appended to this Notification.

NOTE:- If for any reason election to the office of President, Mandal Praja Parishad, Rajupalem is not held on 01.06.2018, it shall be held on the next day, i.e., on 02.06.2018 at 11.00 A.M whether or not it is observed as a holiday by the Mandal Praja Parishad.
