ELECTION SCHEDULE FOR CONDUCT OF CASUAL VACANCIES OF PRESIDENT / VICE- PRESIDENT OF MANDAL PRAJA PARISHADS IN CERTAIN DISTRICTS.
NOTIFICATION
No. 45/SEC-B1/2016-40: In exercise of the powers conferred by Sections 200 and 201 of the Andhra Pradesh Panchayat Raj Act, 1994, (Act 13 of 1994) read with and Andhra Pradesh Conduct of Election of Co-opted Member, President and Vice- President of Mandal Parishad and Co-opted Members, Chairperson and Vice-Chairperson of Zilla Parishad Rules, 2006 issued in G.O.Ms.No.173, PR & RD (Elecs) Dept, dtd.10.5.2006, the State Election Commissioner, hereby, directs the Gazetted Officer of the Government authorised by the District Collectors and District Election Authorities of Ananthapuramu and East Godavari to conduct elections to the following casual vacancies of the Presidents / Vice-President of Mandal Praja Parishads in accordance with the procedure laid down in the said Rules and specifies the election schedule in the Annexure appended to this Notification.

| 1. | Notice to be given in Form-V by the Gazetted Officer, authorised by the Collector, calling for Special Meeting for conduct of election of President / Vice-President of Mandal Praja Parishads concerned. | On or before 26.06.2018 |
| 2. | Date and time of the meeting for the election of President / Vice-President of Mandal Praja Parishad. | At 11.00 AM 30.06.2018 |
NOTE:- If for any reason election to the office of President/Vice-President of Mandal Praja Parishad is not held on 30.06.2018, it shall be held on the next day, i.e., on 01.07.2018 at 11.00 A.M whether or not it is observed as a holiday by the Mandal Praja Parishad.
