ELECTION SCHEDULE FOR CONDUCT OF CASUAL ELECTION TO CHAIRPERSON OF MADAKASIRA NAGAR PANCHAYAT
NOTIFICATION
No.25/SEC-F2/2018: In exercise of the powers conferred by sections 10 A and 10 B of the Andhra Pradesh Municipalities Act, 1965, (Act 6 of 1965) and rule 3 of the Andhra Pradesh Municipalities (Conduct of Election of Chairperson and Vice- Chairperson) Rules, 2005, the State Election Commissioner, hereby, directs the Gazetted Officer of the Government authorized by the Collector and District Election Authority, Ananthapuramu to conduct election to fill up the casual vacancy in the office of Chairperson, Madakasira Nagar Panchayat in accordance with the procedure laid down in the said Act and Rules and fixes the schedule for election to the said vacancy in the Annexure appended to this Notification.

ELECTION SCHEDULE
| 1. | Notice to be given in Form-II by the Gazetted Officer authorized by the Collector and District Election Authority, Ananthapuramu calling for a special meeting for conduct of election of Chairperson of Madakasira Nagar Panchayat. ( This Notice should be given to all the elected members and ex-officio members of Madakasira Nagar Panchayat). | On or before 26.06.2018 |
| 2. | Date and Time of the meeting for election of Chairperson, Madakasira Nagar Panchayat. | At 11:00 AM on 30.06.2018 |
NOTE:- If for any reason election to office of Chairperson, Madakasira Nagar Panchayat is not held on 30.06.2018, it shall be held at 11:00 AM on the next day, i.e., on 01.07.2018 whether or not it is observed as a holiday by the Madakasira Nagar Panchayat.
