HOME DEPARTMENT (PRISONS & FIRE) ANDHRA PRADESH JAIL SUBORDINATE SERVICE RULES - AMENDMENT TO RULE - 7.

NOTIFICATION
In exercise of the powers conferred by the proviso to article 309 of the Constitution of India and of all other powers hereunto enabling, the Governor of Andhra Pradesh hereby makes the following amendment to the Special Rules for the Andhra Pradesh Jail Subordinate Service Rules issued in G.O. Ms. No. 514, Home (Prisons.A) Department, Dated 23 rd November, 1993 and as subsequently amended from time to time.
AMENDMENT
In the said Rules :-
for Rule-7, the following shall be substituted, namely :-
7. "Minimum service":- "No person shall be eligible for appointment by transfer
or promotion unless he/she is an approved probationer
and has put in not less than two (2) years of service
in the category, from which promotion or appointment
by transfer is made".
This orders issues with the concurrence of Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission, Vijayawada, vide their letter No. 359/RR/2017, Dt : 19.06.2018.
