AMENDMENT TO THE ANDHRA PRADESH GOVERNMENT PROFESSIONAL INSTITUTIONS (REGULATIONS OF ADMISSIONS INTO UNDER GRADUATE MEDICAL AND DENTAL PROFESSIONAL COURSES ) RULES, 2004.

NOTIFICATION

In exercise of the powers conferred by sections 3 and 15 of the Andhra Pradesh Educational Institutions (Regulation of Admission and Prohibition of Capitation Fee) Act, 1983, (Andhra Pradesh Act No. 5 of 1983), the Governor of Andhra Pradesh hereby makes the following amendments to the Andhra Pradesh Government Professional Institutions (Regulation of Admissions into Under Graduate Medical and Dental Professional Courses) Rules, 2004 issued in G.O.Ms.No.183, HM&FW (E1) Dept, Dt.30-6-2004 and published in Rules Supplement to Part-I Extraordinary issue of the Andhra Pradesh Gazette No. 23, Dated 2nd July, 2004 and as subsequently amended from time to time:-

AMENDMENT

In the said Rules:

In Rule 5, the (*) Note, of G.O.Ms.No.126, HM&FW (C1) Dept, Dt. 24.7.2017, the following shall be substituted:

"(*) Note: 5% seats of annual sanctioned intake capacity is filled up by persons with benchmark disabilities in accordance with the provisions of the Rights of persons with Disabilities Act. 2016, based on the merit list of National Eligibility - cum- Entrance Test for this purpose the Specified Disability contained in the Schedule to the rights of Persons with Disabilities Act, 2016"
