APPROVAL OF PANEL OF (20) CIVIL JUDGES (SENIOR DIVISION) - NOTIFYING THE APPOINTMENT OF (12) CIVIL JUDGES (SENIOR DIVISION) AS DISTRICT JUDGES (ENTRY LEVEL) BY PROMOTION UNDER 65% QUOTA FOR THE YEAR, 2018.

ORDER:
The Registrar General, High Court of Judicature, Hyderabad in the letter read above reported that as per the directions of the Hon'ble Supreme Court of India in Civil Appeal No.1867/2006 Dated: 04.01.2007 and as per amended 3rd proviso to Rule 4(2)(iii) of the Andhra Pradesh State Judicial (Service & Cadre) Rules, 2007 and as per the 3rd proviso to rule 4(2)(b)(iii) of the Telangana State Judicial Service Rules, 2017, 65% of the cadre strength of District Judges to be filled up by promotion from the cadre of Civil Judges (Senior Division) and the Hon'ble High Court notified 20 vacancies in the cadre of District Judges (Entry Level) and decided fill up the posts by promotion from the cadre of Civil Judges (Senior Division), under 65% quota for the year 2018.

2 ANDHRA PRADESH GAZETTE, July 12, 2018The Registrar General, High Court of Judicature, Hyderabad further reported that the following names of (20) Civil Judges (Senior Division) to be filled by promotion under 65% quota to the post of District Judges (Entry Level), out of which (12) Civil Judges (Senior Division) are working in the State of Andhra Pradesh and (8) Civil Judges (Senior Division) are working in the State of Telangana.
The Registrar General, High Court of Judicature, Hyderabad has therefore requested issue necessary orders of approval of panel of 20 Civil Judges (Senior Division) for promotion as District Judge (Entry Level) under 65% quota, for the year 2018 and to notify the appointment of 12 (Twelve) officers working in Andhra Pradesh State as District Judges (Entry Level):

The Governor for the State of Andhra Pradesh hereby approve the panel of 20 Civil Judges (Senior Division) for appointment as District Judges (Entry Level) by promotion under 65% quota under Rule 4 (2) (iii) of A.P State Judicial (Cadre and Service) Rules, 2007, and under Rule 4(2) (b) (iii) of the Telangana State Judicial Service Rules, 2017, for the year 2018 and appoint the following (12) Civil Judges (Senior Division) as District Judges (Entry Level) who are working in the State of Andhra Pradesh:
