2 ANDHRA PRADESH GAZETTE, July 16, 2018Memo No.176/Vig.II/A1/2001-61,- A copy of the report of the Enquiry Officer, referred to in the reference 5lh cited, was communicated to Sri D.U.S. Bhaskara Rao, EE (Retd), PR. Ananthapur, and, he was directed, . therein, to submit his representation, if any, on the enquiry report, within (15) days, in the reference 6th cited.
In the reference 7th cited, the Engineer-in-Chief, Panchayat Raj, Hyderabad has informed that the Show Cause Notice could not be issued lo the individual concerned since he left from the local station without giving any information to the postal department.
In the reference 8 th and 9 th cited, the Engineer-in-Chief, Panchayat Raj, Hyderabad has been requested to take necessary steps for serving of Show Cause Notice intended to Sri D.U.S. Bhaskara Rao, EE (Retd), as per rules in force and furnish report in the matter. The individual has not furnished his reply on the enquiry report even after lapse of 2 years.
Therefore, Government, after careful examination of the Inquiry Officer's Report, have provisionally decided to impose a penalty of "25%" cut in pension permanently, under Rule 9 of Andhra Pradesh Revised Pension Rules, 1980" on Sri D.U.S. Bhaskara Rao, EE (Retd), PR, Ananthapur (now Retired), Ananthapur District. Sri D.U.S. Bhaskar Rao, EE (Retd), PR. Ananthapur (now Retired), Ananthapur District, is, therefore, directed to show cause, as to why a penalty of "25% cut in pension, permanently", should not be imposed on him, under Rule 9 of Andhra Pradesh Revised Pension Rules, 1980.
He is directed to submit his explanation within (15) days from the date of receipt of this Memo, failing which it will be construed that he has no explanation to offer; and, necessary further action will be taken against him exparte, based on the material available on record, as per rules in force.
