AMENDMENT TO THE SPECIAL RULES FOR THE ANDHRA PRADESH TRIBAL WELFARE ENGINEERING SERVICE RULES, 1993.

NOTIFICATION

In exercise of the powers conferred by the proviso to Article 309 of the Constitution of India and of all other powers hereunto enabling, the Government of Andhra Pradesh, hereby makes the following amendments to the Special Rules for the Andhra Pradesh Tribal Welfare Engineering Service Rules, 1993 issued in G.O.Ms.No. 67 Social Welfare (V) Department, dated 12th April, 1994 and published at pages 537-541 part No. 19 of the Andhra Pradesh Gazette dated 12.05.1994 and as amended subsequently from time to time.

AMENDMENTS

In the said Rules,

I. In Rule 2, the existing entry Category-6 "Assistant Executive Engineer" shall be renumbered as Category-7 and after so renumbered the post of "Deputy Executive Engineer (Electrical)" shall be inserted as Category-6.

II. In Rule 3 'method of appointment', in the table the existing entry Category-6 "Assistant Executive Engineer" in column (1) and the corresponding entry in column (2) thereof shall be renumbered as Category-7 and after so renumbered the post of "Deputy Executive Engineer (Electrical)" shall be inserted as Category-6 as follows:- [ 1 ] 2 ANDHRA PRADESH GAZETTE, July 25, 2018

(6) Deputy Executive Engineer (Electrical)	By recruitment by transfer from Assistant Engineer / Assistant Executive Engineer (Electrical) in Tribal Welfare Engineering Subordinate service.

III. In Rule 5 'qualifications', in the table the existing entry Category-6 "Assistant Executive Engineer" in column (1) and the corresponding entries in columns (2) and (3) thereof shall be renumbered as Category-7 and after so renumbered the post of "Deputy Executive Engineer (Electrical)" shall be inserted as Category-6 as follows:-

(6) Deputy Executive Engineer (Electrical)	By promotion	i. By possessing Diploma in Electrical awarded by Andhra Pradesh State Board of Technical Education or its equivalent qualification. ii. Must have passed the Accounts test for P.W.D Officers and Sub-ordinate Services.
