ESTABLISHMENT OF "SPECIAL COURTS" FOR TRIAL OF OFFENCES RELATING TO ATROCITIES AGAINST WOMEN FILED UNDER SECTION 376 AND 354 I.P.C. IN THE CADRE OF DISTRICT AND SESSIONS JUDGE.
NOTIFICATION
Memo.No.23026/22/2018-COURTS A-HOME,- In exercise of powers conferred by sub-section (6) of Section 9 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 (Act 2 of 1974), the High Court of Judicature at Hyderabad for the State of Telangana and the State of Andhra Pradesh,'Hyderabad, hereby specifies that with effect on and from the date the Officers posted assume charge, the following Special Courts in the cadre of District and Sessions Judge (which were converted from Fast Track Courts) in the State of Andhra Pradesh, vide (1) G.O. Ms. No, 130, Home (Courts A) Department, Dated : 26-8-2015;
(2) G.O.Ms.No.48, Home (Courts A) Department, Dated : 21-4-2016 and (3) G.O.Ms.No. 54, Law (LA, LA & J Home Courts A) Department, Dated : 26-4-2018 shall dispose of the cases relating to atrocities against Women, as are made over to them by the respective Sessions Judges in the State of Andhra Pradesh.
