ANNEXURE-I

NOTIFICATION

In the circumstances reported by the respective District Collectors, the Government hereby declare that Drought exists during the South -W est Monsoon - 2018 (early season drought in kharif) in 275 Mandals - Severe Drought in 274 mandals and Moderate Drought in 01 mandal - in 6 Districts annexed to this order as per the guidelines prescribed by Government of India revised manual for Drought Management - 2016. The concerned District Collectors shall take necessary further action and notify the specific Mandals/specific areas in the Mandal in the District Gazette to enable farmers to avail credit facilities and to take up relief operations. The District Collectors concerned shall ensure deletion of the notified Municipal/Urban areas and areas falling under permanent assured irrigation sources from drought affected Mandals and only for the purpose of drinking water, these shall be treated on par with drought affected Mandals.
