CHANGE OF NAME OF COLLEGE FROM U.K. DEGREE COLLEGE TO ELITE DEGREE COLLEGE ; SHIFT THE COLLEGE FROM TADEPALLIGUDEM TO NALLAJARLA MANDAL AND CHANGE THE MANAGEMENT OF THE COLLEGE FROM UMAKANTH EDUCATIONAL SOCIETY, TADEPALLIGUDEM TO ELITE EDUCATIONAL SOCIETY, DUBACHERLA, WEST GODAVARI DISTRICT SUBJECT TO CERTAIN CONDITIONS.

NOTIFICATION

In exercise of the powers conferred under Section-100 of Andhra Pradesh Education Act, 1982 and after careful examination of the matter, the Government hereby accord permission to the Management of Umakanth Educational Society, Tadepalligudem, West Godavari District for Change of name of the college from U.K. Degree College to Elite Degree college; shift the college from Tadepalligudem to Nallajarla Mandal i.e. from leased building to own building and change the management of the college from Umakanth Educational Society, Tadepalligudem to Elite Educational Society, Dubacherla,West Godavari District in relaxation of Rule 14(3) of G.O.Ms No.29, Education (Rules), Dated : 5.2.1987 subject to the following conditions : [1] 2 ANDHRA PRADESH GAZETTE, November 20, 2018 [a] The permission will be cancelled if any complaints are received from the other colleges existed at Nallajarla Mandal.

[b] The G.O. is a provisional permission for taking over of one society by another. Hence the taking over society/college cannot run the institution without recognition proceedings of the Council and affiliating orders of the University. Such functioning is deemed to be un authorized functioning of the Society / institution.

[c] The taking over society shall seek recognition order from Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education and affiliation order from the University concerned.

[d] The taking over society shall submit detailed proposals as per the application evolved by the Council, if not submitted.

[e] The taking over society should rectify the lapses reported by the council.

The Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education, Kunchanapalli, Guntur District shall take further action in the matter accordingly.
