NOTIFICATIONS BY GOVERNMENT

LABOUR EMPLOYMENT TRAINING AND FACTORIES DEPARTMENT

(LAB.II)

THE MILK FOOD MANUFACTURING INDUSTRY IN THE STATE AS PUBLIC UTILITY SERVICE FOR A PERIOD OF SIX MONTHS.

NOTIFICATION

W hereas the Government of Andhra Pradesh has declared in G.O.Rt.No.312, Labour Employment Training and Factories (Lab.I) Department, Dated : 30.03.2013, the Milk Food Manufacturing Industry in the State of Andhra Pradesh was declared as a Public Utility Service for the purpose of Industrial Dispute Act, 1947 (Central Act 14 of 1947) for a period of six months with effect from 30.03.2013.

W HEREAS THE SAID PERIOD OF SIX MONTHS IS EXPIRED ON 29.09.2013 AND WHREAS the Government of Andhra Pradesh is satisfied that it is necessary to declare the said industry as Public Utility Service for a period for a period of six months in public interest.

THEREFORE, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub clause (VI) of clause (n) of Section 2 of the Industrial Dispute Act, 1947 (Central Act 14 of 1947) the Government of Andhra Pradesh hereby declares the Milk Food Manufacturing Industry viz., M/s.Glaxo Smith Kline Consumer Healthcare Limited, Dowlaiswaram, East Godavari District in the State of Andhra Pradesh as Public Utility Service Unit for a period of six months with effect from the date of issue of this G.O.
