EXEMPTION OF STATE ENTRY TAX FOR THE VEHICLES WHICH ARE COMING TO ATTEND "ALIMI LJTEMA" EVENT IN KURNOOL DISTRICAT FROM 06-12-2018 TO 10-12-2018.

NOTIFICATION
In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of Section 9 of Andhra Pradesh Motor Vehicles Taxation Act, 1963 (Act 5 of 1963), the Governor of Andhra Pradesh hereby grants exemption of tax payable under the said Act, in respect of the vehicles coming from across India to attend "Alimi Ljtema" being convened at NannurToll Gate, Orvakal Mandal, Kurnool District from 06-12-2018 till the completion of the event on 10-12-2018.
This exemption is granted subject to the condition that vehicles will be identified based on the relevant banners and other insignia that are exhibited by the attendees. These will be verified by the Motor Vehicles Inspectors at the Check post and the exemption will be applied only upon satisfaction that the purpose of the vehicle is carrying the pilgrims to this particular Alimi Ljtema.
The Transport Commissioner, AP, shall take necessary action in the matter accordingly.
