AMENDMENT TO ANDHRA PRADESH MOTOR VEHICLES RULES, 1989 BY SUBSTITUTING THE FIRST SCHEDULE UNDER RULE 80 OF ANDHRA PRADESH MOTOR VEHICLES RULES, 1989 - SINGLE UNIFORM REGISTRATION CODE TO THE STATE OF ANDHRA PRADESH STARTING WITH 39 SERIES.

FINAL NOTIFICATION

In exercise of the powers conferred under section 65(2)(p) of the Motor Vehicles Act, 1988 (Central Act 59 of 1988), the Governor of Andhra Pradesh hereby makes the following amendment to the Andhra Pradesh Motor Vehicles Rules, 1989 issued in G.O.Ms.No.216 Transport, Roads & Buildings (Transport-II) Department, dated the 7 th August, 1989 and published at pages 1-315 of the Rules Supplement of Part-1, Extraordinary Issue of the Andhra Pradesh Gazette dated the 25 th August, 1989 as amended from time to time, as the same having been published as required under sub-section (1) of Section 212 of the said Act.

AMENDMENT

In the said rules, for the First Schedule under rule 80, the following shall beSubstituted, namely :- [1] 2 ANDHRA PRADESH GAZETTE EXTRAORDINARY [Part-I

"The First Schedule

(Rule 80 of the A.P. Motor Vehicles Rules, 1989)

Note: (1) APSRTC vehicles shall be allotted all the series starting with Z. (2) Police Department vehicles shall be allotted all the series Starting with P.

(3) Transport vehicles (including Tractor-Trailers) shall be allotted all the series starting with T, U, V, W, X and Y."
