NOTIFICATION

Rc.No. C1/189/2018,- Earlier the factory zone of M/s The Anakapalle V.V. Ramana Cooperative Sugars Ltd., Anakapalle, Thummapala, Visakhapatnam Disirict was declared vide reference 1st read above with a total of (151) Villages in (09) Mandals of Visakhapatnam District for a period of five (5) crushing seasons from 2011-12 to 2015-16.

The M.D., Anakapalle CSF vide his letter Dt: 09-11-2018 has submitted that due to severe financial crises the CSF could not operated during the last 3 (three) crushing

seasons ie., 2015-16, 2016-17 and 2017-18. However, the Government vide ref. 2nd read above has given financial assistance of Rs.30,59,83,000/- to the CSF to take up crushing operations for 2018-19 season. Hence, the MD while submitting the required documents, has requested to declare the Anakapalle V.V. Ramana Coop. Sugars Ltd zone area for a period of five (5) crushing seasons i.e., from 2018-19 to 2022-2023 to take up crushing operations from 2018-19 season.

The Asst. Cane Commissioner, Anakapalle vide ref. 3 rd read above has recommended to consider the proposal of M/s The Anakapalle V.V Ramana Coop. Sugars Ltd and declare the zone area with the existing 151 villages in 09 mandals of Visakhapatnam District for 5 crushing seasons from 2018-19 onwards.

In view of sanction of financial assistance by the Government, as per the request made by the M.D. of M/s The Anakapalle V.V. Ramana Coop. Sugars Ltd., Thummapala, Visakhapatnam District, based on the remarks of the ACC, Anakapalle, as per the resolution of the Cane Development Council and in exercise of the powers conferred under Section 15 of AP Sugarcane (RS&P) Act, 1961 on the Cane Commissioner, the factory zone of M/s The Anakapalle V.V. Ramana Coop. Sugars Ltd., Thummapala is hereby declared with a total of 151 villages in 09 mandals of Visakhapatnam District as mentioned in the Schedule appended to this notification as operational area of the factory for a period of five (5) crushing seasons from 2018-2019 to 2022-2023.
