AMENDMENT OF RULES FOR THE ANDHRA PRADESH COOPERATIVE SOCIETIES RULES, 1964.

NOTIFICATION

. In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of Section 130 of the Andhra Pradesh Co-operative Societies Act, 1964 the Governor of Andhra Pradesh hereby makes the following amendments to the Andhra Pradesh Co-operative Societies Rules,1964 issued in G.O.Ms.No. 1941, Food & Agrl. Department, Dated : 27.07.1964 and published in Rules supplement to Part-ll of the Andhra Pradesh Gazette Dated : 30.07.1964 as subsequently amended.

The amendment hereby made shall be deemed to have come into force with effect on and from the date of publication in the Gazette.

AMENDMENTS

In Rule 28 of the said Rules

1. In sub-rule (4)

a. in Clause (c) for the words," A Society" the words, "A Society, except the Societies mentioned under Section 115 -C &D of the Andhra Pradesh Co-operative Societies Act, 1964," shall be substituted.

b. after Clause (c), the following clause shall be inserted, namely ;- "(d) The Co-operative Credit Societies covered under section 115-C & D of the Andhra Pradesh Co-operative Societies Act, 1964 may decide on the age of superannuation of their employees. However, it shall not be in excess of the subsisting rules governing the superannuation of the Government employees."

2. In sub-rule (6)

a. For the words, "Or common cadre regulations of the Co-operative Societies", the words, "of the Co-operative Societies, except the Societies mentioned under Section 115 - C & D of the Andhra Pradesh Co-operative Societies Act, 1964". Shall be substituted.

b. After sub-rule (6), the following sub-rule shall be inserted, namely :-

"(7). The Cooperative Credit Societies mentioned in Section 115-C & D

of the Andhra Pradesh Co-operative Societies Act, 1964 are exempted

from Rule 28(6) and may frame such bye-laws/special bye-laws of service

regulations of the Cooperative Credit Societies. Every paid servant

and officer of that Society shall retire from service on attaining such age

that is not in excess of the subsisting rules governing the age of

superannuation of the Government employees."
