ग़्क्ष्क़क्ष्क्ॠक्ष्ग़्
In exercise of the powers conferred by Section 326 read with sub-section (2) of Section 80 of the Andhra Pradesh Municipalities Act, 1965 (Andhra Pradesh Act No.6 of 1965), the Governor of Andhra Pradesh hereby makes the following amendments to the Andhra Pradesh Municipal Health (Municipalities) Subordinate Service Rules, 2012 issued in G.O.Ms.No.84, Municipal Administration & Urban Development (G1) Department, Dated.14-02-2012 and amended in G.O.Ms. No. 207 MA & UD (G1) Department, Dated: 22-05- 2017.
AMENDMENTS
In the said Rules:-
1. In Rule 4,
(a) In the table, against category-3 Health Assistants, in column (2) for the existing entry 2) the following entry shall be substituted, namely:-

| "2) By Promotion from the Categories of Public Health Maistry, Public Health Worker and any category of Municipal employees who possess prescribed qualifications for the post of Health Assistant." |
b) for Note. 3 the following Note shall be substituted, namely:-
"Note:3 The vacancies of Health Assistants shall be filled up in the ratio of 50:50 between Direct Recruits and Promotees in the following order of Cycle:-
१द्मद्य ज्ठ्ठड़ठ्ठदड़ : By Direct Recruitment २दड्ड ज्ठ्ठड़ठ्ठदड़ : By promotion from the category of Public Health Maistry ३द्धड्ड ज्ठ्ठड़ठ्ठदड़ : By Direct Recruitment ४द्यण् ज्ठ्ठड़ठ्ठदड़ : By promotion from the category of Public Health Worker ५द्यण् ज्ठ्ठड़ठ्ठदड़ : By Direct Recruitment ६द्यण् ज्ठ्ठड़ठ्ठदड़ : By promotion from the category of any Municipal employee ७द्यण् ज्ठ्ठड़ठ्ठदड़ : By Direct Recruitment ८द्यण् ज्ठ्ठड़ठ्ठदड़ : By promotion from the category of Public Health Maistry ९द्यण् ज्ठ्ठड़ठ्ठदड़ : By Direct Recruitment १०द्यण् ज्ठ्ठड़ठ्ठदड़ : By promotion from the category of Public Health Worker
Provided that if any qualified employee for promotion to the post of Health Assistant is not available as per the above cycle, the vacancy shall be filled up by next category in the cycle from promotion quota."
In Rule 6 in the Table against Sl.No.(3) in column (3) after entry (iii) for existing proviso, the following proviso shall be added, namely:-
"Provided that in case of Public Health Maistry, Public Health Worker and any Municipal employee who are on service as on the date of issue of these rules i.e.14- 02-2012 they shall possess, intermediate or an equivalent educational qualification."
