NOTIFICATION

Whereas, the Government of Andhra Pradesh consider that information with respect to the place specified in column (2) of the Schedule to this Notification, or damage thereto, or the destruction, or obstruction thereof, or interference therewith would be useful to an enemy, and that the aforesaid place be declared to be "Prohibited Place".

Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by clause (d) of sub- section (8) of Section 2 of the Official Secrets Act, 1923 (Central Act No. 19 of 1923), read with the notification S.O. No. 1285, dated the 4 th May, 1963 (No. 21/20/62-Poll) of the Government of India, Ministry of Home Affairs, New Delhi and of all other powers hereunto, the Government of Andhra Pradeshhereby declares that the place specified in column (2), and location as specified in column (3) and the designation of the authority who issue passes / permits as specified in column (4) of the Schedule below, to be "Prohibited Place" for the purpose of the said Act with effect on and from the date of publication of the Notification.
