NOTIFICATION

Where as in the reference 1st read above orders were issued for appointing Special Officers for ULBs among which, the Joint Collector-II, Kadapa has been appointed as Special Officer for Pulivendula Municipality for a period of six (6) months with effect from 03.07.2019 or till the elected body comes into office whichever is earlier.

In the reference 2nd read above the Commissioner & Director of Municipal Administration, A.P. Guntur has informed it was informed by the Collector, District Magistrate, YSR District, Kadapa that the Joint Collector-II, Kadapa has to attend various development activities at the Head quarters, it is very difficult for him to attend the duties of Special Officer, Pulivendula Municipality and also informed that Sri B. Anil Kumar Reddy, OSD, PADA who has taken charge of the post is sanctioned at Pulivendula only and is a Senior Officer and can attend the duties of Special Officer. Hence, the Commissioner & Director of Municipal Administration, A.P. Guntur has requested to consider and appoint the OSD, PADA, Pulivendula as special officer in place of Joint Collector-II, Kadapa District in (1)

order to have close monitoring of Municipal Administration activities for better service delivery to people of Pulivendula.

Accordingly, after careful examination of the matter Government hereby appoint the OSD, PADA as a Special Officer to Pulivendula Municipality in place of the Joint Collector-II, Kadapa.

The Commissioner & Director of Municipal Administration, A.P., Guntur is requested to take necessary action accordingly.
