In the reference 1st cited, Disciplinary action was initiated against Smt. A.Geetha, Assistant Executive Engineer (RWS&S) of Zone-IV while working at RWS (P) SDKurnool, by framing charges under Rule 20 of the APCS (CC&A) Rules, 1991 for continuing under unauthorized absence and willfully abstaining from her legitimate duties w.e.f. 11.6.2007. [ 1 ] 2 ANDHRA PRADESH GAZETTE, November 17, 2020 In the reference 2nd cited the Superintending Engineer, RWS&S, Kurnool has submitted the dated acknowledgement of the charged officer, however, the charged officer has not submitted her written statement of defence.

After examining the matter, orders were issued vide reference 3rd cited appointing Superintending Engineer, RWS&S, Kurnool as Enquiry Officer for conducting regular Enquiry and appointing EE RWS&S division (P) Kurnool as presenting officer into the charges framed against Smt. A.Geetha, Assistant Executive Engineer (RWS&S) of Zone-IV as per Rule 20(2) of A.P. Civil Services (CC&A) Rules, 1991.

In the reference 4th cited, the Enquiry Officer submitted His Enquiry Report. The Enquiry Officer has stated that the charge is 'held proved' against Smt. A.Geetha, Assistant Executive Engineer (RWS&S) of Zone-IV.

After examination of the Inquiry Report and the material available on record, the undersigned has provisionally decided to impose a major penalty of "Removal of service" in respect of Smt. A.Geetha, Assistant Executive Engineer (RWS&S) of Zone-IV.

Smt. A.Geetha, Assistant Executive Engineer (RWS&S) of Zone-IV is therefore requested to show cause, as to why a penalty of Removal of service should not be imposed on her, under Rule 9 of A.P. Civil Services (CC&A) Rules, 1991 within (15) days from the date of the receipt of this memo. She is also informed that, if she fails to submit her explanation within the above stipulated period, it will be construed that she has no explanation to offer and further action will be taken against her, based on the record and as per the rules in force.

The receipt of the Memo should be acknowledged.
