In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-sections (1) and (2) of Section 13 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 (Centrai Act 2 of 1974) read with Rule 1 of the Rules, framed with regard to appointment of Special Judicial Magistrate of II Class,the High Court of Andhra Pradesh, hereby confers on Sri Ginka Reddy Sekhar, as Special Judicial Magistrate of II Class, Rayachoty, Y.S.R. Kadapa District, all the power of Special Judicial Magistrate of II Class, in respect of particular cases or particular classes of cases, as may be specified by the Chief Judicial Magistrate, [ 1 ] 2 ANDHRA PRADESH GAZETTE, November 24, 2020 Y.S.R. Kadapa District, to enable him to function as Special Judicial Magistrates of II Class, Rayachoty in Y.S.R. Kadapa District, for a period of TWO YEARS, from the date he assumes charge of his post as such, or till he attains the age of 65 years, whichever is earlier, subject to condition that if he refuses / fails to join duty within fifteen (15) days from the date of issue of the notification, his claim to the said post shall be forfeited and that the services of the officer appointed shall be liable to be terminated without any notice.

Under sub-section (1) of Section 14 and sub-section (2) of Section 15 of the Criminal Procedure Code, 1973 the Chief Judicial Magistrate, Y.S.R. Kadapa District, may issue special orders defining the local limits, from time to time and also as to the distribution of the business among the Special Judicial Magistrates of II Class to exercise the powers in the place of his posting in Y.S.R. Kadapa District.
