LIQUIDATION OF DORMANT SOCIETIES - ADONI TEACHERS COOPERATIVE HOUSE BUILDING SOCIETY LTD, Y.Y.NO.23, ADONI - APPOINTMENT OF LIQUIDATOR U/S 65 OF THE APCS ACT., 1964.
Read : 1. Progs. Rc.No.1145/2020-NC, Dated: 04.11.2020 of the District Cooperative Officer, Kurnool.
2. Letter Rc.No.620/2020-NC, Dated: 11-12-2020 of the Divisional Cooperative Officer, Adoni along with Inspection report U/s 52 of the Senior Inspector / Inspection Officer, O/o the Sub Divisional Coop. Officer, Adoni.
3. Letter Rc.No.1145/2020-NC, Dated: 23.12.2020 of the District Cooperative Officer, Kurnool.
ORDER:-
Whereas in the reference 1st cited, the Senior Inspector, O/o the Sub Divisional Coop.
Officer, Adoni was appointed as Inspecting Officer U/s 52 of the Andhra Pradesh Coop.
Societies Act, 1964 to conduct inspection into the affairs of the Adoni Teachers Cooperative House Building Society Ltd, Y.Y.No.23, Adoni.
Whereas in the reference 2nd cited the Inspecting Officer submitted the Inspection report U/s- 52 of the Andhra Pradesh Coop. Societies Act, 1964. The Inspecting Officer has stated that he approached the Ex-management of the society they stated that they could not run the society due to COVID pandemic. Further, Inspecting Officer stated that he verified

As seen from the Bye-Law No.5 of the society. Any teacher working in Adoni town and who has attained majority and who is competent to contract and is of sound mind and who is not a member of another building society working in the same area shall be eligible for admission as member. As seen from the Admission Register, the admission of member took place long back and might be retired from service. As per the Bye-Law, the working teachers are only the members of the society. As the members retired, the existence of the society is in Chaos, as seen from the Audit report and records of the society available, the society is not having any undistributed land.
Whereas in the reference 3 rd cited the District Cooperative Officer, Kurnool has requested to take necessary action as per the Andhra Pradesh Cooperative Societies, Act and Rules for winding up the affairs of the of Adoni Teachers Cooperative House Building society Ltd, Y.Y.No.23, Adoni.
In view of the circumstances stated above by virtue of the powers delegated to Deputy Registrar of the Coop. Societies under section 65 of the Andhra Pradesh Coop. Societies Act, 1964. I the Deputy Registrar of Cooperative Societies, Adoni here by appointed the Assistant Registrar O/o the Sub Divisional Coop. Officer, Adoni as Liquidator to the Adoni Teachers Cooperative House Building Society Ltd., y.y.No.23, Adoni.
The appointed liquidator is requested to complete the liquidation process and submit the final closure report and repot compliance to the under signed.
