NOTIFICATION
In exercise of the powers conferred by sub section 2 of section 72 of the Consumer Protection Act , 2019 (Central Act No.35 of 2019 ) the Governor of Andhra Pradesh here by confer on the President of Andhra Pradesh State Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission , Vijayawada and the District Commission in the State of Andhra Pradesh with the powers of a judicial Magistrate of First Class for the trial of offences under the aforesaid Act and the Andhra Pradesh State Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission , Vijayawada and the District Commission shall be deemed to be a judicial magistrate of First Class for the purpose of the Code of Criminal procedure , 1973 ( Act 2 of 1974 ) in pursuance of Section 72 (1 ) of the Consumer Protection Act , 2019 .
