THE ANDHRA PRADESH GOODS AND SERVICE TAX ACT, 2017 – EXTENSION OF TIMELINES FOR FILING OF APPLICATION FOR REVOCATION OF CANCELLATION OF REGISTRATION TO 30.09.2021, WHERE DUE DATE FOR FILING SUCH APPLICATION FALLS BETWEEN 01.03.2020 TO 31.08.2021, IN CASES WHERE REGISTRATION HAS BEEN CANCELED UNDER CLAUSE (B) OR CLAUSE (C) OF SECTION 29(2) OF THE ANDHRA PRADESH GOODS AND SERVICES TAX ACT, 2017.

In partial modification of the notifications of the Government of Andhra P r a d e s h is su e d in t h e G o . Ms. No . 2 6 4 , Re ve n u e (C o m m e rci a l Ta xe s - I I ) Department, dated 11-09-2020 and Go.Ms.No. 174, Revenue (Commercial Taxes - II) D e p a r t m e n t , d a t e d 1 4 - 0 7 - 2 0 2 1 , i n e xe r c i s e o f t h e p o we r s c o n f e r r e d b y s e c t i o n 1 6 8 A o f t h e A n d h ra P r a d e s h G o o d s a n d S e r vi ce s Ta x A c t , 2 0 1 7 (Act No. 16 of 2017) (hereafter in this notification referred to as the said Act), 2 ANDHRA PRADESH GAZETTE EXTRAORDINARY [PART-I (13 of 2017), the Government of Andhra Pradesh, on the recommendations o f t h e G o o d s a n d S e r vi c e s Ta x C o u n c i l , h e r e b y n o t i f i e s t h a t wh e r e a registration has been cancelled under clause (b) or (c) of sub-section (2) of section 29 of the said Act and the time limit f or making an application of revocation of cancellation of registration under sub-section (1) of section 30 of the said Act f alls during the period f rom the 1st day of March, 2020 to 31 st day of August, 2021, the time limit for making such application shall be extended up to the 30th day of September, 2021.
